I looked at a new one a few weeks ago and thought it was nice and put together well. At least the interior was. I didn't get a good look at the outside mechanical stuff very well though.

Bought one about a year ago, no problems so far, actually have not even taken it back for to the dealer for anything.

Tows great, being 35ft it pulls easier than my last 30 ft unit

Very happy with this unit especially being this is my 8th RV.

This is our first summer with ours. We have had more problems than others, but we still like it. Coachmen is fixing the problems at least. Some of the problems are from the subs (Shurflo, Lippert, etc) that can and do happen with every make.

If you are happy with the quality of your Cougar then you will be fine with a Brookstone, Montana so on. Tires will be near the max and probably Chicom made. Very weak looking frame and suspension.

OP, you may wish to put more credence to those that actually own one. This one reminds me of WKRP's "eyewitness weather". About as reliable.

Have had mine ( 367RL ) now for about a year and a half. No major problems but just requires maintenance and the stuff you wish to add.
My opinion is it takes a dually to pull it as its heavy. Last weighing was at 25000 + lbs for truck and trailer and about 4150 hitch weight but no problems. Interior is nice but have upgraded couch and 2 chairs with Lazy Boy leather for more comfort and a little more room. Tires upgraded on day 2 to LT Gy tires.
Forest River has been responsive for any problems.
Would not own one without Level Up System.

Just want to commend you for stepping up making us all safer with your upgrade to the GY G14 G tires!

There is an iddiot that comes to the Palm Springs Thousand trails with the same trailer as you pulling it with a newer 3/4 ton 4x4 RAM the rear of his truck sits at least 4" lower then the front. "It pulls the rig just fine!"
