There was nothing better and I just can't believe I can't get one. I would buy that company if I could, it was that good.

Try a MaxBrake. A little more work to install but the "experience" is worth the effort.

The 350 to 450 dollar controllers is a turf market. None of the providers had the whatever to market them at >200 bucks and make a profits on volume. Sad there were/are three or four good high end controllers.

You might want to try the Tuson BUS controlled brake controller. The gets its information from the vehicle CAN BUS, so there is no delay in operation. The controller knows you are moving at 55mph and automatically adjusts the gain. Full diagnostics of the trailer brake system is also available at the remote control. The controller will also work for electric/hydraulic/ABS brake systems. The company name is Tuson RV Brakes LLC.

I have a 12 yr old Jordan and I hope it lasts as long as I do. I've read bits and pieces. I thought Dr.P bought out Jordan and later I read that Dr.P owned Brakesmart. So, I figured he bought Jordan to stop that much of the competition. That would make sense but I don't know if any of that was true. Craig

They too have discontinued the BrakeSmart controller. My recollection is they posted a message regarding a supplier unable to provide a part vital to the controller. They never did bring back the BrakeSmart.
I was born in Great Falls, Mt. My parents moved when I was 5. I found them when I was 10 - they were in California.
