Has anyone tried the Bud Light Lime-a-Rita yet? Just curious to know how it tastes.

I was going to ask the same thing! Really don't want to buy a pack of it if it's nasty and haven't found a waterin'hole that has it yet.

I have tried it, there are some I like better but it is good over ice. It is a malt beverage similar to Mikes Hard Lemonade so if you don't like those you would not like these.

Is it supposed to be a spin off of a Margarita? If so, if you don't like it, you could use it in place the Corona's in this quick Margarita recipe:

1 can frozen limeade - dump in pitcher
Fill empty frozen limeade can with tequila - dump in pitcher
Add two cans 7-up
Add two regular bottles Corona
Mix and enjoy.

This is really one of the best quick Margarita recipes I've tried and it's smooth and packs a punch so watch out.

Don't know why you couldn't use up those Bud's if you don't like them in this recipe.

THEY'RE GREAT! I bought a 12 pack last night, the clerk at the liquor store told me that they were having trouble keeping it on the shelves. Only drank three of them, but today I was in Wally World and they had some so I bought another 12 pack so I'm stocked up!

Love them!!! They come in 8oz. cans at 8% alcohol, but of course lots of calories. They're not terribly cheap either, and do compare taste-wise to the above recipe.

IMHO, if it is made by budweiser it is probably nasty.....Dos Equis with lime and salt, try it I think you will like it.

I went ahead and bought some. They are OK. They taste like a cross between a sprite and a beer with some lime.

Here's another suggestion along this same flavor - pour your beer over ice, yes ice, then squeeze in some lemon or lime, and sprinkle with salt or a dash or Kosher salt and it is delicious and refreshing and you probably have everything on hand.
