While the DH and I are not in the market for a new fifth wheel yet, we're always looking around both for sport and as part of our business. That said, we would like our next fifth wheel to have a front living room or a rear den, side hall bathroom, and an outdoor kitchen. We've seen the Cedar Creek front living room (I like it, DH wasn't impressed). I know that there are other front living room models out there, but many of them have a walk through bathroom to the bedroom and I don't want that. None of the floorplans that I've seen online (front living rooms or rear dens) have an outdoor kitchen, though. Since I can't afford to have one built (please don't suggest that as an option because it's not), does what I would like even exist?

If Cedar Creek has one that meets all those criteria it may be the only one. I've seen plenty that have front living room and outdoor kitchen but they all had a pass thru bath.

I love cooking outside when camping, however, we don't have and never had an "outdoor" kitchen. We take ice chests (to bring the fish home in), a table and a Coleman stove. I have a plastic bin for the "outdoor cooking" utensils, etc. No need to spend extra $$ for one that's built in. When we had a Class A, we had one bin that DH built to store all the cooking stuff (pans, stove, utensils).

It is obvious that that your dh does not know the golden rule. If the dw likes it, then everyone likes it!

Out of curiousity, what didn't your husband like about the Cedar Creek?

I think Cedar Creek is the only one that does not have a walk thru bath, so far that's the only front living room that I like.

He didn't like the wrought iron work in the living room. There was more but it was also relatively minor. We've owned a Cedar Creek before and we currently own a Cardinal, so Forest River brands aren't the problem.
As for the philosophy that if mama ain't happy, nobody's happy, my DH doesn't subscribe to that particular philosophy, unfortunately lol.
