Now Rodger... if you read it all, you might have noticed that every possible B was brought up... GW, SMB, LTV, Era and American Cruiser.

If you look at our OP question, he wasn't all that serious... merely curious. And I think he got his question answered... with added extras.

I felt Kendalls post was in bad taste, and posted for no other reason than to brag and make new Rt and PW owners feel bad because they wasted a questionable $30,000 dollars by not purchasing a Winnebago. He said it was a no brainer, other wise they were stupid. This is not the first time he has said this, and so I took offense to it.
This is no different than telling people what you paid for your rig, when you know some paid more. It just causes I'll will, and has no place on the forum.

I have no dog in this fight, just don't like to see it on the forum. It was a totally different post than say Blue Marble's, who just said he likes AC, he didn't tell people that they blew it, and wasted their money, he just said how much he liked it.

I'm glad this forum allows differences of opinions, and I'm entitled to mine. If you don't agree with it, I can take it. So throw some flames if it amuses you.

That comment reminded me of when our fire dept. accepted a brand of fire engine that was of lesser quality that speced. The Chief stated in a public forum that he didn't see a thirty thousand dollars in the two. Three years later they tallied all the repairs and they were over eighty-five thousand dollars for the cheaper unit..

Most posters in this forum are nice enough, tactful enough, and smart enough to express their brand preferences without it coming across as a put down of other brands or their buyers. It's one of the great pleasures of participating here. Seems that there are occasional exceptions to that, tho'.

BTW, my personal preference in B's is Roadtrek, based on having owned two. of course as has been said before, there's no perfect RV for everybody. But I'm real, real happy with my little C-minus after over 6 years of ownership.

Yes, it was tactless, but I guess I'm so used to the fact that there is always one in every crowd that I skim and ignore. Perhaps because I do get a bit of that over the fact that I went top of the line with my new unit.

But some of us think we deserve the best.

Besides I thought you meant that we should only talk about PW and RT... knowing what a stickler you are about keeping on topic. (and how bad the rest of us are about hijacking)

Hi all,

I think Jim has it right. There is no perfect RV.

So you need to think carefully about how you are going to use the RV. Read the posts and check them out. All mentioned are good units so it is easy just pick the one you like and enjoy your B as we do mostly touring.

Ours is RT and we like the PW as well. GW is really nice unit.

Oh just buy one.

For us, the choice was easy since we decided on the Roadtrek Agile and PW doesn't have a model on the shorter Sprinter chassis.
