I go through this every time we get back from Ft. Wilderness at Disney World or Topsail Hill in Santa Rosa Beach. I look for a new destination RV Campground in the Southeastern US and can't find anything that comes close to comparing with the two aforementioned CGs.

Any recommendations? We'd prefer something with full hookups (including sewer) and pet friendly is a must.

Thanks!

We stayed at Lake Osprey and loved it. It is in Elberta, just north of the beach.

Myrtle Beach / Ocean Lakes CG. Lots of stuff at the CG and within a ten-mile radius.

Thanks!

Lake Osprey looks great. I'm checking into it.

Bella Terra is for Class A rigs only. We have a fifth wheel.

Ocean Lakes looks too big, commercial and like a gigantic parking lot from their website. And the CG rules are extensive! "families only"?! We are a family, so it wouldn't be a problem for us, but I've gotta wonder what prompted them to feel they had to state that?!

Charleston County Parks is nice (we've stayed there) but IMO not quite up to the level of Disney's Ft. Wilderness or Topsail Hill.

Keep the suggestions comming!

Near Tampa, we like Quail Run RV Resort (Wesley Chapel FL).

In the panhandle there is a new park Live Oak Landing at Freeport FL. It's an RVC park. Here's the web address to their other parks:

We have stayed at the one in Freeport and the one in Hot Springs and they are both very nice.

Try Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake in Kissimmee, Coastal Georgia RV Resort in Brunswick, Bass Lake in Dillon, SC, Ocean Waves in Waves, NC, or Flamingo Lake in Jacksonville...just to name a few!
