Just finished our second weekend camping in our new camper, and of course there are already problems. I am not too surprised as everyone had warned us that new campers have their issues to. Went to open the big window in my son's room with the PUMA lounge and the metal came apart from the glass, thus you can't open the window. Well that made for a hot weekend in room without fresh air. Has anyone else had that happen and how did you fix it?
Absolutely talk to your dealer. We bought a new Puma and the first year out the toilet valve broke and flooded the whole camper while we were away. we ended up sending it back to the manufacturer--Forest River. they fixed it and added in quite a few extras for our troubles. we are happy campers again.

Never leave the trailer with the water left on. I guess I don't need to tell you that. Sorry to hear about your bad luck but at least they made it right for you. Luckily you were under warranty.
I'm even afraid to leave mine on while I'm asleep which is the reason I put a remote control shut off valve on the water connection outside so I don't have to turn it off manually. I just press the button on the remote control before I go to bed or leave the trailer and it's off until I click the on button. One good feature is that it'll automatically shut off in 3 hours if I forget to turn it off. Maybe I'll be lucky and not spring a leak during the 3 hours if I forget to turn it off sometime.
