you can go to rv parks reviews and type in the town and it will list all the rv parks. just read at your own pace. we drove through there last winter, too many old people for us. LOL. but really there are just too many people for us to put up with. we are small town people and if there are more that 10K in one spot we feel crowded

I stayed a few days at the Islander RV and really liked it alot. And I don't like staying in campgrounds as a general rule. Can't say if the other is better or not.

There is a park on the island called the Islander. It's a nice park that is primarilly park models and presold sites. They have many sites that they rent during the summer months. The only down side is that they run the place with an iron fist and can be a little too much.

We stayed at Havasu RV Resort. It is absolutely beautiful and very nicely landscaped. They won't tell you, but ask if there are any owned sites that are available. They are a little pricey, but, IMO worth every penny.

We got there, unhooked the toad and drove around looking at the various RV parks.

We've stayed at two different places there and both were nice. Couldn't tell you the names though, it's been about 5 years.

Rent a patio boat while you are there. That was a lot of fun.

Crazy Horse Campground is also on the island. We have visited relatives there but have not stayed there. Many sites overlook the Colorado River. Relatives love the park, have been there every winter for about 6 years. We stay in our rv parked next to my parents house when we're there (free is our friend!), so can't tell you any more about Crazy Horse. Beautiful area! Make sure you hike SARA Park down to the river on the Yellow trail. Pretty amazing!

After an evening I spent in Crazy Horse, I would advise to avoid it at all costs.
Nothing but drunken underage partyers up screaming all night. Then there was the puke covered restrooms.
Local State Park ranger said "Ya, we know all about that place and none of that goes on here".

We went across the lake to the California side and stayed in a comfortable campground run by the Indians that have the casino. The shuttle/ferry across the lake cost only $1. The views at night of the lights on the lake were wonderful.
