Check the battery to make sure it is fully charged and putting out 12.6 volts even under load or jump another on it to check the slide
If it starts to move and stops it could the switch itself or the motor

I had same problem with Lexington BR and DR slide. It would work sometimes and not others. I checked operator's manual and it said to have E450 engine running when you are engaging slide in or out. If that helps the slide then also go to battery shop and have them test your coach batteries as bad batteries can also hinder slide operation. Good Luck

In my Coachmen Freelander 32BH 2011 slide outs do not work when ignition key is in and engine running as safety mechanism in place prevent the slide out to work.

X2.

We just got back from Disney and were breaking camp. On a overnight stop on the way home, I started the MH as we finished the last of the breakdown and my wife started yelling that the slides would not work, shut off the motor and they worked.

As to the intermittent slide, last year my 32BH curbside (bedroom) slide stopped working on the way to Texas. Actually it would roll out fine, but would not come back in. Had to manually push it in while someone was holding the override button. All the time the front, streetside, slide worked perfectly.

Ultimate cause was a bad controller under the refrigerator.

I have a feeling what is not right.I disconnected the RV from electrical outlet in the house and left it without connected to power for few hours.I check the coach battery voltage and it was 12.6.Now I on the coach battery switch and connected the meter to the battery than try to get the front slide out.It did not work.Voltage on the meter drop to 12.2 volt.Than I try the back slide and it worked fine though again voltage drop to 12.4 volt during the slide getting out or in.Is this mean coach battery is not having enough power to work the motor for the slide out but than why back slide out work fine.

I took the motorhome to local RV shop and he diagnosed that one of the coach battery is bad.Voltage was 13.1 but cranking amp was only 254 while other good battery has cranking amp of 801.My coach batteries are worldwide NC24 manufactured Jan 2010.I called worldwide as batteries are still under warranty and they told me I will be reimbursed 60 dollar for the new battery. Now my question is that should I change both batteries or only one which is bad.second question is which one you people would recommend.I have bad experience with worldwide as it last only 2 years.

I have to report this and ask your advice.I was told that one battery is bad and other is good by RV Tech.I said fine,I need to talk worldwide batteries as it is still under warranty.I drove back home with coach batteries remain connected.I called worldwide following day and they agreed to reimburse me 60 dollar.I went back to RV shop to buy the new batteries for the motorhome.Just for curiosity I asked the tech to check the battery again and now he told me that battery is fine and meter said good battery, cca 552,voltage 12.7.He checked the other battery which was declared good before and was still reading good with similar readings cca 555,voltage 12.7.Now I am puzzled than why slide out quit working at times and start working again when I hooked it to shore power for 6-8 hours supposedly this chrges the battery and give them more juice.I took both coach batteries to another auto shop and he also declared them good.So I bring them back and connected them again to the motorhome.Again same problem front slide do not get out but backroom slide works fine.I connected the shore power again and keep on checking every few hours, slide did not work.I left it hooked to shore power overnight and when I came back in the morning to check the slide,it worked fine.Getting in and out without any problem. Now what should I do.Do you people think it is still battery problem and when batteries get more juice with trickle charge overnight, front slide work fine.Back slide always work fine.My thinking is that front slide need more power to work so when batteries are weak it do not work but once enough power is there with charge
than it works fine.Am I correct,if yes than why batteries checked by 2 different shops tell me that they are good. What should I do now. Please help.
