I like yard work now. When I was doing the 40 hour weeks I didn't like having to mow on the weekends. but now that I'm retired, I actually look forward to yard work. gives me something to do besides flying RC planes

Not me!
2.5 acres in Indiana. Every 4 days. 6th gear in a JD still took 3 hours.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out and defiantly shouting "Wow, what a ride!".

don't mind mowing. in fact it gives me relax time along with thinking time.

for me it is HOW OFTEN I have to mow. when hot and drought type weather I mow little. When it is more rain I mow every 3 days it seems. then it gets annoying

being Southeast I was mowing in Feb this year. talk about a pain.

I do enjoy mowing but have been forced to give it up for awhile because of major surgery a month ago. It was a small shot to my ego to discover that my son mows it just as nicely as I do!

Wow - I can't believe there are actually folks who like mowing!

What's wrong with you people?

Not a full-timer so don't get to miss mowing - but I'd sure love to!

Two things that went like hotcakes when we had our garage sales a couple of weeks before going fulltime. Snapper lawn mower and John Deere walk behind snowblower. Good bye! What a waste of valuable time, mowing and snowblowing. Miss it? you gotta be kidding. Since we now spend the winter season in Yuma, AZ. I see folks mowing. Rock that sucker and spend time doing something productive.
