Marcus,
When I want to buy something for my rv and I go to the CW website, their prices are way higher than other rv sellers. I know their is a cost for having 'sticks and bricks' but in most cases CW isn't even close on their pricing. Why don't you do the same comparison shopping that I do and adjust your pricing to a 'reasonable' level?

Do not agree just bought a $122 bike rack at a competative price. Plus free shipping

Bob, why don't you do a short list of items that backs up your post. Making a flat statement like that doesn't mean a thing. What is the "something" you're talking about?

I totally disagree with your statement. The web site is the same as the store prices except for shipping & handling which everybody charges. I fine that the store prices are very competitive and even some are better with the Good Sam discount.

When I used to get the CW flier, I found the prices generally higher than other stores, but if I was a "member", the prices were bit better - but still higher. I would use the CW adds as a way to see what new products were out there, and then go elsewhere to purchase. And no, I am not going to give specific examples.

I have found CW to be competive with other online retailers, sometimes better and sometimes not, it all depending on the item. Last year they beat everyone I check with on three window awnings. Some of the other retailers provided a better price for the awnings, but then added an extremely high shipping charge. In that case, when I included the S&H charges, CW was over $100 cheaper.

I agree that if you compare some individual items like sewer and water hoses, black tank chemicals, etc. you may be able to get them cheaper at WalMart or Amazon (which also offers free shipping.) However there are some things where CW is clearly cheaper. For example, over the weekend, I saved over $50 for a Progressive Industries EMS over the next lowest online price I could find. That purchase alone paid for my dues.

They seem to have gotten more competitive recently. They now offer free shipping to Good Sam members and the prices have been lowered on many items.

I've been spending a lot more money at CW lately. I've found some products to be priced below other e/retailers.

Bob,

I have worked really hard to get this right. If you can send me specifics it would be great.

I think as stated some of the items might be cheaper at Walmart but what I have found is that when I go look at CW for something RV related most of the time they have it in stock. If I do go to another dealer in town they may or may not have it and have to order it. I have been happy with the overall prices at CW and the fact that they generally have what I need in stock.
