I am thinking of giving Pine Power a try in my holding tanks. Just wondering how much and how often do you use it? I have 40 gal tanks.

Why throw $$ away. Nothings needed in the holding tanks.

He's trying to clean the muck off the sensors. It has never worked for me, we have learned when to dump. Bob

I use 1/2 cup in each tank after dumping them with 5 gal water in the black tank. Never had a smell and my sensors have always worked. For $1.98 a half gal. it's cheap insurance.

Now that is what I'm looking for...cheap insurance. Thank you.

For a deep cleaning job if you think the tank is pretty gunked up about 1/2 to 1 cup of any detergent will help clean the tank. Pine type cleaners smell better but don't think they really clean any better than dish or laundry detergent.

We just tried the geo method and with only using it once we could not tell if it made a difference, maybe because our tank was already pretty clean after going through a thorough cleaning with lots of water and detergent before we put it to bed last winter.

It makes the tank walls very slippery and nothing sticks to them.
