We were considering a class A, 30-32 feet but are now looking at B's. I have read about those going from A's, fifth wheels to a B and liking it. Anyone with regrets going to a B and why?
We like to tour and not stay in one place for long. Size, I can park it in out condo complex so saving storage fees. Can easily do double duty as a second vehicle when needed. Seems it would be more convient for spur of the moment trips.

I do miss my ice maker and big bathroom...for about 5 seconds.
I downsized my rig to fit my dog.

After 3 class A diesel pushers, we downsized a few months ago to a Sprinter based Winnebago ERA. We've taken 2 longer trips (2000 miles/2weeks each) and to date have NO regrets what-so-ever! It is a bit of a different life style and we're still learning what we really need to take with us vs the "maybe someday it'll come in handy". We enjoy the option or towing or not towing our car on a trip, depending on the destination and duration of the trip. We like the reduced stress of not being 40' long with another 18-20' behind us and finding we're heading down a unknown street wondering if we'll find enough room to turn a corner or turn around. The Sprinter is a super van to be converted to a small, fully functional motorhome, we luv ours!!!

We've added a 120V/12V freezer to our "B", so cubes, ice cream, and frozen groceries are not a problem.
As to the larger shower, well, if the location where you are parked is appropriate, there is always the outside shower. Been there, done that.

make sure your spouse feels the same way. I want a B my DW
can't stand the smallness, relativly bad bed etc.
I'm looking at small c 25 or less with 60x80 real mattresses.

Our first coach in 2008 was a B. We do regret that decision. Not because it was a bad coach, but because it was the wrong purchase decision for our use. We ended up with a new C last year and love it. THAT was the right decision for us.

After 10 years in a c now it's just the two of us, so so far we are loving the B. it's a challenge deciding what to bring after having so much room for storage in the C
Alaska is next! Still trying to fit the pontoons to the RV so We can get to Hawaii!

Went from a small C to a B after kids left home. No regrets.
Ref storage space, we have plenty with room to spare.
But we do not haul around any outdoor gear (grill, chairs, table, etc.)
When I unloaded the C, I was amazed to discover how much stuff that we had that we never used.
Our fold-down sofa makes a fine bed for us but that is a matter of individual preferences.

We got our (used) Class B as a compromise, essentially, between camping (in places without running water) for her many fairs and my penchant for luxury cars and hotels. My idea of roughing it is a hotel where they bolt the remote to the nightstand.
We're delighted. It's easier to drive than a Class C or A, self-contained and has most everything we need. But... we probably would top out at perhaps a two week trip in it; longer and we would really need either an A or simply stay in homes/hotels. So absolutely no regrets but it does have limits.

As we're getting older, the sleeping accommodations don't suit us as well as before. The ERA ,which we almost bought, seemed too long at 24'
