66 and 65 here and we go out at least twice a month and try to plan 3-4 extended trips.....Not ready to hang up our Keys yet....Five years ago we almost didn't buy this trailer my hubby was having some health issues and I was not sure about sinking the money into a trailer.....Can I say we have had FIVE great years of travel if it should end tomorrow we have made some truly great memories....So go out and make your own memories and have a super time together.....

We started a few years ago with a travel trailer, now have a 5th wheel. The future might hold another upgrade to go longer and further.

Too old? That's BS. I'm 73 and have been camping with tents, a PU, and a TT for 50 years. I pull a small TT, 16', and for the most part I camp well off the road in mountain national forests. None of us have the strength and endurance we had 30 or 40 years ago, but at your age you're capable of doing any sort of camping or RVing you wish. I say go for it with no hesitation at all.
When I was working I made many trips, as many as 3 or 4 weekends a month except in winter. Plus 6 weeks vacation and add some scouting and hunting trips. I make less trips now, but they're a good deal longer, the longest around 3 months. I can't tell you off the top of my head what I may run in a given year, just say I camp a lot.
I'm 69 about to be 70. Started with a tt 6 years ago and now a 5th wheel. We have a great time. I think you are as old as you act and/or think you are. I still think of myself as an active person. Lucky not to have any health issues....If you are healthy..go for it.
69 and DW 68. Started out 38 years ago with a canvas wall pop up, then an Apache hard wall pop up, then a 23 ft TT, then a 13 ft Boler fibreglass (kids were gone) and now a 35ft MH ( Too lazy to go through the set up BS when I can do it from the drivers seat). Too old... just getting to the best part. Go for it and enjoy the others are just jealous.

However, we use our RV to tailgate the entire football season. it's unfortunate, but I'm still working and get very little vacation, so we can't use our RV to do much traveling.
For the past decade, we've used a Class B to tailgate in. This fall we'll be using our HiLo trailer to tailgate.
After I retire late next year, we plan on using our TV/TT combo to travel across America.

I full time and most of my camping neighbors I have met have been 70+ and usually in better shape than me, and more vibrant than my grandparents who sadly just sit at home growing old. I think RV'ing helps keeps seniors young and physically fit!
