Yes, behind Circus Circus. Stayed there last year. Nothing fancy, its a parking lot but it has electricy which you will need for your air conditioner.

We stayed at circums circus a few years back. Just a paved parking lot with hookups, but it is right on the strip.

Alaska is next! Still trying to fit the pontoons to the RV so We can get to Hawaii!

If you don't want a parking lot with electricity (Circus Circus), there are several others farther south. I'm sure they aren't cheap, but not much in LV is anymore (they found out about us non-gamblers). If I were to go back there with the coach (not likely, but not for any reasons that matter to your situation), I would pick one of the nice places and have Enterprise bring me a car for the time. This is usually cheaper than setting up (~2.5K$ + car) and dragging it (-1.25MPG) to where ever....

Since I live here in Vegas, I have been on two of the the close to the strip parks. Circus Circus is actually on the strip, but as mentioneed above, it's little better than a parking lot, but convient. I would prefer to stay at the one that is on the far end of the strip called Oasis RV. I've driven through it several times over the years. I've included their web site,

I don't know where you get your figures on mpg for towing. I have towed with my last 3 MHs and can't even find 1/4 mpg difference.

I always love when this comes up because there's always the comments about the KOA at Circus Circus being a big parking lot. Yes it is, but you're camping in a major metro area right smack in the middle of it's tourist center. What more do you really need? If you're going to Vegas and you want to be close to the Strip then the KOA at Circus Circus is the place to be. You can walk from there all the way down to the MGM if you want, but walking to Ceasars is more reasonable. It's also not a far walk to get over to the Monorail Station behind the now closed Sahara. You can get to anyplace on the strip from the Monorail. If you have your toad then you can get any place on the Strip using Industrial Blvd in just minutes.
