My rear cooling fans are not working. I have bypassed the fan control switch with a jumper and they still do not come on.

The tech wants to replace the power board with the Dinosaur board. $$$

Does the power board have any effect on the fans?

Hi,

I suppose you could bypass the board all together and just use a manual switch or a switch and thermostat combo.

Is the fridge working well otherwise?

Yes. Temps in the freezer range from 1 to 5 degrees. Getting warmer by late evening when the outside temperature goes up. Refrigerator is around 34-36.

It is going to get hotter as summer reproaches so the fans are going to have to work.

at Chris Bryant's site, www.bryantrv.com he has manuals. Yours should be there with a wiring diagram noted "with fans" or something like that.
There could be a reason beyond noise/current draw/wear why fans shouldn't run most/all the time, but I haven't heard it.

BOTH fans failing is unusual. On the control board on back . There are 2 heavy (14 gauge ) wires in the center of the control board. You do NOT remove the control board cover. THOSE are your fan wires. You have a BLACK and a White. The white should be on your LEFT as you look at the board and the Black on your right. IF they are not in this position the fans will not work even when you bypass the tstat. I Have NEVER had to replace a control board for fans not working. Doug

Doug....I owe you big time...
The black and white wires were in the wrong position. I put the white on the left, black on the right and the fans are now working.

Thanks, Jim
