We're travelling through Seattle next month and would like to see a Mariners game, looking for a campground close enough to Safeco field to park our rig and cab to and from the field, any suggestions??

This is going to be a tough one...There is nothing really close to Safeco Field where you can watch my Mariners loose another game....

I guess my best recommendation would be this......Lake Pleasant RV Park in Bothell

Have a good trip.

Yes, you could stay at Lake Pleasant RV Park, north of Seattle, but be aware that it's 20 miles from Safeco Field so the cab fare will be pricey.

RVPARKREVIEWS

Take a look at the link I've posted. I think you might have some choices in the Bothel, Bellevue, Issaquah area. Don't be afraid to use public transit to the games. When parking ranges from $20-$40 it's a cheaper alternative. Go Dawgs! Oh wait, I mean Mariners.

I think the parking folks have "oversize parking" area. I would arrive early and plan on staying till after traffic to clear out. Call ticketing they should now who has the parkiing contract and give them a call. I wouldn't park near ball park only at the ball park, not the best area in town, but at ball park would be alright IMO. But if your going to spend night that would change things for me. To staying at a campground. And that area is not friendly for any oversize vehicle day or night.

During the dog show last March, there were a number of RVs parked in the lot on the north side of the stadiums, near the RR station. This was a modest size exhibition hall event, not a game.

I did this last year. I stayes a week in Bothel, and got a rental car to drive the city with and went to the game. Easier for me and parking around the city. Better than my dually. Nice park as well. Then you could also go see Boeing in Everett
