I must say that I disagree with midnightsadie's blanket negativity on dealers. I have purchased two RVs from the same dealer and he is not only well informed, but honest. It is his company and his reputation on the line... and he has quite the fan club on here. He sells mostly B's and small C's. (it is Dale at Lake Region RVs... mentioned here often enough especially on the B Branch)
I purchased my Libero from him last summer. I am thrilled with it and can't wait to attend the rally in September to meet the LTV owners that I have met here online. Being in North Dakota (Hi Dan!!) I am closer to the factory than my dealer north of Minneapolis, so the factory does any warranty work. Thus far just minor adjustments and personal tweaks.
They aren't cheap... and also it can take a long time to forever to find a used one - especially their small C's which are newer and fewer are around. I just gave up and bought a new one - don't regret it.
Thanks everyone. You have put our minds at ease. I probably won't take the macerator as I've read they fail quite frequently ( at least according to RoadTrek owners ). We don't mind spending the money on a quality product.

We bought a 2010 Libero as our very first RV experience. Loved it! But after a bit decided we needed a different floorplan and amenities . Traded for a 2012 UnityMB. Couldn't be happier with it. The quaility and customer service are fantastic. We tow a Jeep Liberty and can go everywhere. Much easier than the big guys but still have room to live and entertain.
The MB is clever, but we didn't want to do the bedroom setup fire drill every day, and if someone were still in bed, there was no place for the other person to hang out. We loved the floorplan of the 24IB (island bed)- also seen at the hershey show. Any owners out there willing to comment on the livibility of that unit?
Hi! We have the Triple E Regency GT24MB, which has the same interior as the Leisure Vans UNITY 24MB you looked at. Ours is classed as a B+ or small C. As you probably know Triple E and Leisure are now under the same unbrella and produced at the same factory in Winkler, Canada. Our Regency is on the Ford E-450 chassis and the UNITY on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis.
My husband preferred the Ford chassis over the Sprinter, because it's easier to find regular gas and get service on the Ford in small out of the way towns. We like to travel the roads less traveled. We got our unit from Van City in St. Louis last September. We love it!!
The Murphy bed is very easy to put up and down, all bedding stays on the bed after tucking in the sides. We like the added space it gives us inside. As said the one down side to the MB is when the bed is down there isn't anywhere for the other person to hang out. I often sit in the passenger seat in the daytime to read, so you could use it as a hanging out spot if the bed were down for a late sleeper. We have the same sleeping schedules so it doesn't bother us.
The U-lounge is great for relaxing, dining, and watching TV or working on the computer. It also provides a comfortable napping spot, by putting the table down and moving one cushion in the daytime. We love the great bath/shower area, and all the wonderful storage. In fact we haven't found anything we don't like about the floor plan. The Regency GT24MB is built with extra insulation, dual pane windows, rear auxiliary heater, side walls with thermal break, and enclosed insulated and heated tanks. All of the extra insulation really helps with the summer heat here in the south, as well as keeping you cozy in the winter.
The quality of our unit is awesome, and everything has worked flawlessly. We have toured the factory in Winkler and were really pleased with the quality of workmanship and attention to details. The wonderful people who work there are really proud of their RV's, and are open to any suggestions you have. We have owned a Pleasureway and a Born Free, both nice units, but the quality of the Regency has them all beat in our opinion.
My husband and I travel with a Basset Hound, and it's an ideal size for us. It's easy to park and get around in the city as well. We have been to Canada and back and camped in MS,AR,LA as well. It's small size is great for touring and quick overnights, as well as longer camping stays. We have dry camped for five days straight with no problems. As you can tell we are pleased with our 2012 Regency GT24MB.
Wishing you the best on your search, and I think you will be pleased with a Leisure/Triple E product. More expensive than some, but the quality, fit, finish, and a factory who backs their product makes it worth it.

If you are considering the Unity 24MB, here are two others that are worth a look-see.
These particular ones are sold, but you can order up a new one with or without a slide-out, full body paint, leveling jacks, whatever. Made just the way you want it.
Modern Class B's are all quite innovative in space utilization. The LTV diesel Mercedes version costs around $128K,(base price), uses more expensive diesel fuel, gets much better mpg than gas version, probably requires more expensive periodic engine maintenance. The LTV Chevy gasoline version is a lot cheaper probably gets 11 mpg, easier to get service on the road. Lots of features to compare model to model and brand to brand. Comparing 24 foot Class C's to 21 foot Class B features and space utilization, elbow room, etc., would be interesting.
We bought our motor home 5 years ago, brand new. It has only 17,000 miles today. It is built on the Ford E350 with V10 gas engine. If we could have upgraded to a Sprinter back then, it would have cost us an additional $14,000 as two years later when it came available that has been the up-charge. A quick rough caluculation says 17,000 miles over 5 years on a Sprinter versus our Ford saves roughly $350 to $450 per year. How long would it take (if ever) for us to recoupe that up-charge?
I get only so many weeks of vacation and not all is spent RVing. When we do go, we bring along our Jeep Liberty which takes care of many of those vacation miles because we could never take the motor home to some of the places the Liberty takes us. Then there must be consideration given to towing a 4300 pound Liberty with a lower powered Sprinter. For our particular situation, the standard gas engine chassis on a Ford or Chevy, seems a better choice.
But some people rack up the miles with their motor home. For them a Sprinter is surely worth consideration. Some people chase ball clubs for much of the season. I could see the Sprinter being ideal for them.

Personally, I love the Unity U24IB (island bed). In addition to the rear island bed, it has great exterior storage. Would really like to see if another manufacturer will be putting that (or similar) floor plan on a Ford or Chevy and keep the unit under 25 feet. Would be nice to have an affordable choice. I posted about this last year, and there was a lively conversation. At the suggestion of other readers, I did contact various manufacturers and none were interested in that floorplan on their chassis. Still haven't found a comperable floorplan from an alternate manufacturer.
