This is brilliant!!! The biggest P.I.T.A. hooking up and un-hooking my fiver was reaching over the dually wheel fender to reach the padlock to unlock it and pulling the handle so i'd have to grab the three-step ladded we keep inside and set it up next to the fender,,well not anymore,i found this lil' beautyclick and it's the bomb as my grandson says!!!

I use one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Plastics-101-6R-RED-Foldz-Step-Stool/dp/B000VI4ZGQ/ref=sr_1_2?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1339733532&sr=1-2 It's cheap and it folds up flat and sits in the small space between the truck rail and my tool box.

Have used one of those wheel steps since we started 5th wheeling. Quick on, latch or unlatch and quick back in the bed of the truck. Careful though how you grab it or fold it, it can pinch your fingers.

Full timing isn't "always camping". It's a different life style living in an RV.

Larry, I have one of those but quit using it. I have a fold up two step, step stool.I also have a 50 gallon fuel tank just behind the cab and that truck service step just isn't close enough to the tank to see when it's full. I don't go by the pump shutting off when the sensor tells it to. So it's the step stool for me. Heading out west next Friday until September. We go west and you go south.

It certainly helps to lock and unlock it under load. Gain about 3-4 inches
Another dually draw back I guess.
