I just purchased a Reese Pro Series 15K hitch. I have always used a Pullrite hitch that required no grease (used a dry lube). I really don't want to grease the hitch and was looking at the lube plate available at my local CW. Can I use this and NOT use any grease?

Please disregard. I found a recent post stating that most do not use grease. I will probably use my dry lube on the pin but that's it.

We use some white lithium on the jaws of the hitch and pin as well as the plate.

I use the plate, BUT, I use a small amount of white lithium grease on the pin and jaws.

X3 Use the plate and a little grease around the kingpin the keep friction down.

On the plate use the teflon spacer that is sold at most RV stores. There are two sizes. On the moving parts I usually spray with lithium grease 1X per year.
