My office is in Fairfax and periodically I have to go for a couple of days. I'd like to take the camper and stay there instead of a hotel. I'm a subscriber to the Big Rigs Best Bets, but the CG that they recommend is about to be closed for renovations (LAKE FAIRFAX PARK).
Can anyone else recommend somewhere within about 15-20 miles from Fairfax, VA?

It's RV Park Reviews seem acceptable. My only concern is the shooting range + noise from that.
Lastly, I called them and explained that I have a 42' fifth wheel and he assured me that they have both full hookup sites that will suffice as well as electric-only sites that will work.
Has anyone stayed here that has first-hand experience?
Second on Bull Run Regional. Their full-hookup sites serve all RV sizes. We camp there often and have found the shooting range to be background noise that is not that bothersome. Of course, one of our alternatives is next to the Quantico marine base and its various ranges. Northern Virginia has lots of highways and other noise sources that just let you know that you are not out of the urban environment yet.
We have stayed at Lake Fairfax Park campground several times. Last weekend there were about 8 m/homes, one a Prevost. However the only hookup is electric;20,30 and 50 amp. They do have a potable water fill spigot and a dump station.
Also no WiFi or cable TV but plenty of TV stations with your antenna.
