Check to see what model of seat you have. On the underside of the seat embossed in the plastic you may find the model listed as " Willy Wacker ". These seats are installed by the WOMEN who work at the Thetford plant,

The girls are all going to be SOOO jealous:

Ed lowers the seat when he's done. Yes! - men CAN be trained to do this!! It's hard work, but it can be done!!!!!

Thetford must have female designers/engineers for their products. Not that it is a bad thing but think about it....a toilet seat that closes itself. Now watch Kohler; American Standard and all the other manufacturers follow with their version for the home.

Yep, gotta admit I was trained well. However, I decided that it was a two way street and insisted that if I have to lower the seat, then she has to lower the lid. We compromised and now we both, when done, lower the seat and lid.

Works for us...

LOTS of men over 60 or so do. They are just ashamed to admit it.
The old body just don't work like it used to.

As for the toilet lid issue, just lower the seat and the lid, problem gone.

I have never understood this problem, or complaint, If men are smart enough to raise the seat before going, then I think that women (reportedly being the smarter of the species) should be smart enough to lower it before going, (without whining).

Better be careful with this one. When Thetford finds out about this undocumented feature, they will bump up the price.
