I have a 2002 Roadtrek 190 Popular RV that has windows made by CRL. My problem is that the rear side windows are frameless awning windows and the lower part that is made to open and close by swinging out at the bottom has come loose from the frame at the top of the window. The brackets that hold the swing out mechanism to the window are also starting to detach. What kind of adhesive do I need to re-attach them?

If you give Roadtrek a call, they'll likely tell you what they used to install them. I'd suspect you'll need the same, or similar, product.

Cheers.

On a 190, Roadtrek is using the windows installed by Chevy. These windows are standard to Chevy vans going back some time. (My 2011 190 has the same window hinges as my 1996 Chevy van.) Check with a Chevy service center or a body shop. I am guessing that the adhesive used to hold a rear view mirror to the windshield might work but these hinges do take more strain than adjusting a mirror. I am sure Chevy will be able to tell you - and may have it to sell you in their parts department.

They are not Chevy windows.
Call Laurence, or Roadtrek

I am going through the EXACT same thing today. Same 2002 Roadtrek 190P.
I called CL Lawrence. They recommended a Loctite product. Apparently availble at local hardware stores. I tried the rearview mirror stuff, and it did NOT last but just a few weeks.

We have a 2012 Agile that right after delivery the rear side window detached just as you described. I emailed pictures to Roadtrek and the dealer. Roadtrek and the dealership suggested having a local automotive glass shop reattach the glass. The company sent a mobile unit to our house because they didn't want the glass disturbed for a few hours (road shocks). They used windshield adhesive; total cost $60. Diagnosis: faulty primer application. Now I live in fear of the other windows falling out as well. The discouraging part, there was no follow-up by Roadtrek or the dealer to make sure things were OK.

I don't know if Roadtrek covered it or not, I ASSUME they did, because the dealer arranged to have the glass company do the work. I've been afraid to open the window but need to incase it falls out again. What bothers me is what prevents the others from having the same issue... I would have felt better if either Roadtrek or the dealer had said they would stand behind any more issues with the glass, but no. Guess I expect to much.
