I got some great stuff for our next trip. New Mag flashlight, gift card for kindle app so I can get some books to read, Life Is Good T-shirt, and new reclining camping chair. I got hooked up!!!

I'm ashamed to say, my DH simply got a wife who screwed up the food for the camping trip. It seems I was so busy planning the big group camping trip that I forgot: the ketchup for the hot dogs, the baked beans to go with the hot dogs (this was friday night dinner), the coffee (I drove home for that one and returned w/ starbucks iced coffee in hand for him), the vanilla for the french toast (we had eggs instead). We came home today, was gonna make the french toast for dinner as a make up (that was what he asked for). Went to make it and discovered we were out of vanilla, so he got leftover beef brisket BBQ for dinner. I felt so bad because I just couldn't get it together this weekend (in my defense, I am a little under the weather and was organizing a huge camping meetup for this weekend). I promised to make it up to him next weekend with a trip to his favorite restaurant for some good maryland steamed crabs!!!! He did enjoy spending the weekend camping and going to the beach. We let him sleep until 10 (check out wasn't until 3) this am and then DD woke him up and gave him his card. He then got to come home and watch his race.
