Having fuel problems in Roswell NM, engine stumbles at times, I expect low fuel pressure to be problem. OEM pump located behind ECM bolted to engine. My question is, has anyone installed aftermarket electric pump at fuel tank to supple fuel without removing OEM pump.
I'm assuming it's on a motor home? Yes, there are kits that remove (dont try to push through it) the lift pump and replace it with an OTR heavy duty pump - FASS is one that is very good. Expect to pay roughly $400+ for a unit that will last 700000 to 1M+ miles. Anything less will fail prematurely.
Or you can carry a spare LP which can be changed in minutes on the side of the road.
If it's on a Dodge truck then the pump is in the tank.
