Can TNT possibly show any more commercials during the Nascar race? One time there was a caution and they immediately went to commercial. They came back for about 30 seconds and then went back to commercial. (I am watching delayed on my DVR so I don't actually see the commercials.)

A DVR is the only way to enjoy the NASCAR racing anymore.

I wish FCC would limit the commercials on each program. Soon all commercials and no programming !

NASCAR has to get money somehow. Has anyone noticed how many empty seats there are at most races?

Personally, I'm grateful that there's a system in place whereby I can watch the races on big screen HD in the comfort of my home. And, IMO the camera work, editing, and commentating/reporting is EXCELLENT.
The frequent 3-minute commercial breaks is a necessary evil. MY complaint is that they show the SAME commercial over and over and over and over. I have to ask, who are they trying to reach, mentally challenged people? Geico and Nationwide commercials come to mind. I'm the kind of person who does not respond to TV commercials, BUT love the racing coverage (at an affordable price).

I wonder how much Americans would be willing to PAY, to have a NO commercials tv network ?

In Britain, for all most 60 years , they have had to pay a annual license fee, to get away from commercials on BBC channels. They also now have "independant networks " that you do pay for.

What would you prefer ? No commercials, but an annual fee, say $100, or the way it is now ?

I can complain for free. Why would I want to pay more than I do already?
However, if I wanted to I could record and then fast-forward through commercials. But, I prefer to watch it LIVE, and also I make use of the commercial breaks anyway. It's not like I just sit there and watch commercials.

My feelings are that I payed more than enough for cable tv. To be inundated with commercials while paying for it makes it not worth it.
Well, that and the fact that there is nothing on tv worth watching anymore, just 5000 reality shows and Keep Up With the Kardashian's reruns. What a deal.
I thought I would but I don't miss tv one bit.

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?
