My question when home for a week or more , should i be on shore power
Thanks

Personal choice. For a week, you should be fine. Trip the battery disconnects to reduce any loads and such. The smoke/Propane/CO detectors might still be active though. It's easy enough to run a basic extension cord to a 15 amp outlet to keep the batteries full and the fridge if desired.

I leave my coach up on 30 amps any time it's in the drive way with the fridge on and the AC set to 85 or so. Drop the AC a bit and my man cave is ready. Fridge, 32" HD, satellite service and a bath room within 5 steps of the sofa.

I plug in to keep the refer on. Runs on propane but 110 is less costly.

And the bonus is if wife gets nutty I can go watch tv and have 1 ac on.

Your batteries will probably last much longer if you keep them watered and charged.

You will need a minimum of 30A to run the refer. Also, if you run the converter (especially the cheap POS that comes with most RVs, you will boil the water out in short order. Check water levels weekly.

300+ watts 2.5 amps are 120v

If it was a THREE WAY and if it was on 12vdc it would need 20>25 amps

Options, always have options, and the journey goes much smoother

If you have an adequate 3 stage charger, you can leave it 24/365/7/52/12.

Jim... I think huffmeister was referring to an AC...not fridge.
