We are full timers that have lived in our TT for 4 years. I decided its time to touch up the roof, I saw some stuff at walmart but not sure what exactly I am looking for?? We have a small leak due to a falling limb that we caulk once in a while, but I want to give it a good touch up. But not sure what exactly I am looking for?

eternabond tape and you'll never have to mess with that spot again, assuming the leak wasn't so bad it ruined the wood

I'll second the Eternabond tape! Easy to work with, and as long the roof area is reasonably clean and dry it's there to stay. Haven't had to use it on the current 2010 trailer, but used it on our 1991 Jayco and never had and leaks.

Thanks I will have a look at the link.
I tore the roof material at the seem and we caulked it up with some stuff from walmart, it lasted all winter but the hot alabama sun has dried it in a place and we have to go up and find it. But I want to put a layer of liquid latex or something on the roof. I want to go to the rv store this week but dont know which one to get.

Hit the damaged seam with Eternabond. I got the elastomeric coating at Home Depot...Lowes has similar products. It is amazing how much heat it "bounces" off the roof.

Welcome to the Forum Kathy! We too, fulltime in our rig and I have successfully used Eternabond and am a big fan. After looking at my EPDM roof, it was looking a little thin last year, so I applied a coat of Liquid Roof. Now I think we are good for another several years. Good luck on your project and again, welcome to the Forum!

You could put a couple of costs of white elastomeric paint on the roof if it it's metal. I would still use the eternabond on the hole though. The paint will give and take with the and contraction of the roof.
