Can't seem to post any pictures using photobucket on safari browser. I get failed to open message (safari). I've done a search and am trying the URL code and the direct link with no success. Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you post the incorrect link I could probably find the right one.

Did you get your pics INTO Photobucket???

If so, scroll under the picture and get the IMG CODE...copy that.

Come to the forum...create your thread -- now just click to make sure your cursor is in the blank box where you're typing and then do CTRL V (paste)

It depends on whether it's a Photobucket issue, or caused by a recent RV.NET Forum "space" issue. You can take a look at this animation for posting from Photobucket.

If it's a RV.NET related issue, then try posting your photos using the Woodalls portal. Or use a bit.ly type shortcut for your photos such as here.

Iam new to this and I used TinyPic as a free URL. It seems to work great and very easy.

Thanks, I enlisted my fiancee to help.
Here's what finally worked to get a photobucket album up on this forum:

Photobucket's URL is too long (used bit.ly to get a shorter code, no sign up, just at the bottom of their page).
Copied the bit.ly code and then used the image button to embed the code:
but also chose 640 as the width (per other forum instructions)
Then also UN-clicked "Editor Assistance" and set it to "off"

We're glad you got it to work.

However, the Photobucket's URL is not too long. The Forum software has no restrictions on the length of a URL.

The Editor Assistance works differently for the two settings. I leave it on all of the time. But when it is on, it will open the Image tool. When it is off, clicking on it inserts a start IMG tag, clicking on it the second time inserts the close IMG tag.
