Turn on a fan or sleep with the TV on.
"Just camp durring the winter"......then you have the noisey furnace to put up with...aaaaarrrrggggghhhhh!

It helps keep out the other noises from the campground but when your outside I can barely hear it running. I also need to have some type of noise at night to sleep so I like it or a fan running at all times (camping and at home)

I have been told the 3 speed fan AC is quieter on the lowest speed. But I agree wow they make a lot of noise.
