Thinking of dumping AT&T.
Yes but be careful. I have a Tracfone LG which works well in the vehicle.
Net10 Motorola Bluetooth WILL NOT WORK WITH A CAR KIT. Believe it or not, it is designed that way for some silly reason. That was confirmed by Motorola.
As stated above...yes some do. My TracFone LG501C is Bluetooth enabled and works quite well with automotive systems (at least the Mopar iterations) and Bluetooth headgear (Borg enablers).
My 2 cents, your mileage may vary...

TracFone has many phones with bluetooth. You can visit their web site and get specs for each of their phones.
The do cover 99% of the US population using virtually all of the antenna networks in the US. They are the largest MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator)in the US with 18 Million TracFone users. Parent company is America Movil owned by the richest man in the World, Carlos Slim Helu.

Quote: TracFone will piggy back on any carrier and defaults to the carrier with the strongest signal at that moment when multiple carriers are available.
you have said this twice
and I don't belive the LG phone you listed has both cdma (verizon sprint) and GSM (att T-Mobile and Europe)technology built into it
such phones are referred to as 'world phones'
if your phone uses a sim card then it is only going to roam on att or T-Mobile and is a virtual carrier that uses one or the other as its primary, it will not roam on verizon or sprint
it will not use any cell tower that is in range
it will only use a GSM signal that is in range and APPROVED !
Options, always have options, and the journey goes much smoother ....

Another plug for Tracfone. I have not personally used one, but out of the people I know with prepaids, Tracfone is the only one I've ever heard get favorable comments.

Depending on where I am, I may be on AT&T or I may be on Verizon or I may be on T-Mobile. There is no "single carrier" restriction on TracFone. When I go to Everett, my phone is on AT&T, but, in Bedford and Altoona, I'm on Verizon.
TracFone's use of all of the major carriers is the biggest reason for my choosing TracFone. Doesn't matter where in the country I am, if there is a cell phone signal, no matter who the provider is, my TracFone will work and it makes carrier changes seamlessly in the background; no user input required, just pick up the phone and dial.
Tracfone contracts with a number of different carriers, but not all Tracfone phones work on all of their carriers. If you buy a GSM based Tracfone for instance, it will work on AT&T and T-mobile towers, but it will not work on Verizon or any of the other CDMA based carrier's towers. Only the few Tracfone CDMA phones will work on those towers.

Our CDMA (Verizon) Tracfones worked fine when we traveled through southern Ontario a couple of weeks ago. The connection showed as roaming, but we were only charged one unit per minute. We did not try texting or any other data services though, just voice service. I understand the GSM (AT&T/T-Mobile) phones do not work in Canada.

In southern Ontario you may have picked up a tower in the US. TracFone does not support any service in Canada.
My main phone is Verizon (son works for them & has us on family plan), and second phone has been TracPhone for years. They both work equally well wherever we travel. $30 a month for 2 phones and never run out of minutes. When on the road I sign on for the data at $1 a day (Verizon employee price)and pay by the day.
