So anyone that has done the Planned Non Operation, when you finally register said OHV, does the $18 go towards your registration or do you still have to pay the full $52? I wanna PNO them for a few Months but if all I am doing is adding money in the DMV's pocket, forget it!!!

Well this is just stupid then.. $18 to PNO, $23 to pay late, so only a $5 difference. WTH, $10 per PNO, okay, a $5 savings, eff that, we are getting screwed either way!!!
Yeah. I'd better make the appointment. If I had the paperwork I'd just bypass the whole line and go inside and use the kiosk machine. That thing is great, except I miss out on hanging with Selma Bouvier.
Us retired guys have to make appointments, retirement sucks ,you never get a day off

I'm almost always wrong when I assume something. Is it he annual vehicle registration sticker? Is it something to do with all this "green" BS that's going around nowadays, like a re-registration that your RV is somehow more "environmentally friendly" than any other?
???

its just the color of the sticker, its for an OHV and its basically a tax, but they call it registration. The money collected is supposed to be used for OHV purposes, but they want to "steal" it to help with the budget crisis.
There is a red sticker, same deal, but for bikes that do not meet Fed emmission guidelines, usually competition bikes.
If your bike is "street licensed" you don't need either sticker.

YES!!! AAA does do renewals AND replacements. Had to replace green sticker on our rhino, the gal at the window said it was close enough to the renewal that she would just go ahead and do the renewal for me. In and out in 10 minutes! Last week on the way to the sierras, stopped in lancaster to pick up replacement for buddies bike, no problem, in and out in 20 minutes, there was a line....
So yes, they do ohv stickers, red, green, renewals, and replacements!
And they do a great job!
Hope you got yours in by this weekend, otherwise it's a 50% penalty! I did mine online Sunday AM, since it's a weekend they don't bring in the extra fees until today.
