I am beginning to notice that a lot of new members are bashing Good Sam or one of it's off shoots in their very first post. Makes me wonder how they even knew of this forum. Or....are they members that have signed up with a new name just to bash.

Oh heaven forbid. On another forum, I was called a naysayer because I pointed out that a new member joined and 1 hour later posted a derogatory comment.

Probably been lurking, and maybe think that's the way to make a splash. There are several topics which seem to be popular to bash. I often wonder if all the "bashers" have first hand experience, or just parrot what others post. Or maybe, as William Hurt said in "The Big Chill", they're "just trying to keep the conversation lively!".

You have been a member since 2000 and you are just "beginning to notice"

GS bashing has been one of the staples of these forums since I have been a member.

I can name other regular bashees, but that would likely just invite more bashing.

I would defy anyone to name a major business that satisfies ALL of it's customers.

Especially a business with ERS, breakdown insurance, and a repair function. To need any of these services you already had to have some type of bad experience. Makes people real hard to please (I include myself without reservation)

It is true that some people can't be pleased. Have you ever read the online reviews for a hotel. There are always a handful of them for each hotel that call it a dirty disgusting bug infested place. Hard to believe when the other 95% say how nice it is.

A good bashing every now & then is healthy.

Nothing is 100%........always room for improvement.

Can't fix it if everyone is 'drinking the Kool-Aid'
