Hi All
We are looking for family camp grounds near Daytona Beach Florida.
The family would like to go there for March break.
Kids are ranging from 16 to 6 years in age.
Any suggestions would be great.

Try the International RV Park & Campground. It's close to both the speedway and the beach.

Encore parks in the DB area are pretty good. Watch your dates though as there may be other special events happenings when you plan to go and may have difficulty getting a site.

I remember college spring break in Daytona Beach. Not all of it, but the best parts. Are you sure you want your kids to grow up that fast?

Thanks for the help all
The kids are into motocross and we are hoping to go to the race on March 9 and then just camp and go to the beaches the rest of the week.
Any other suggestions would be great.
Other wise we will just book a KOA in the area. We usually stay at them on the way to Florida and the seem to all be the same so you know what you are getting.
Thanks again.

That's during bike week... most places will have a 5 day or so minimum stay with highly inflated prices... if you can find a place. We usually stay ( boon dock) at the Flea Market for Bike week.. or sometimes go to Flagler to
Bulow RV Resort as they always have room since it's out of the way.

We realize that the prices will be inflated but that is the only time the kids have off. We would be staying for the week since we are driving from Canada.
Looks like the KOA is about the best option.
Thanks

If it is Bike Week plan on being subjected to lots of loud bikes, tons of traffic gridlock in some areas, but one of the best times you probably will ever have and certainly a memory for the kids. After having worked in emergency services in the DB area for 25 plus years I can tell you first hand that the bikers are way more behaved than the roudy college brats.I wouldn't subject the kids to Bulow. It gets crazy up there at times.

Bulow has been very peaceful for the past several years. The rowdy crowd moved to Bunnell when John Seibel left Bulow and opened the new Thunder Gulch campground.
We go every year and Bulow is very quiet and tame. I wouldn't hesitate to take children there. Bulow no longer has biker events at the campground. Most nights the on-site tavern (The Roadhouse) is practically dead.
