Here is a quick trip report from ocean shores Washington. I decided to take my 2 year old son to go and see the ocean for the very first time we live in eastern washington I had a few days off and decided it would be fun to go and check out the ocean the weather was great for the ocean. We had a blast looking at the waves and picking up seashells and sand dollars. We camped at the state park right by ocean shores it is called ocean city state park it is a great little campground it wasn't right on the beach but it was a short little walk through some trees and you were on the beach. I thought it was better because you had nice big trees to block the wind. not alot of people we were there for 3 days and it was fairly affordable. this was our third major trip in the new lance camper and I think I enjoy it more and more everytime we take it out. I just wish I could find some way to beable to dull it full time. i am a fly fishing guide and have a fairly flexible schedule but would love to just drive around the country with my son someday maybe.

Looks like a great time. I especially like the pic of your boy on the beach with the sun in the background.

Great pictures! The little guy seems to be having a good time there with Daddy!
Hope you got to Westport while in the area. Such a nice little fishing village that hasn't changed much over the years. There's a ferry that you can take from Ocean Shores to Westport and back so you don't have to drive around the harbor.
