While in Ninilchik, Alaska we dug some gorgeous razor clams at low tide from the beach in front of our RV. I've made some out-of-this-world yummy clam chowder.
Any other recipes out there for clams? Love to hear about 'em.
Fried with a nice Panko Bread Crumb coating with a homeade tartar sauce would be my second choice after steamed and dipped in drawn butter with a cold beer!
I sure the different Spanish recipes for Mussels would be good with razor clams. Lots of Garlic, butter, and white wine, Pepper, herbs...yummy!
Be sure to use a disposable aluminum pan to grill 'em in. That way you lose none of the clam juice. You can also add say broccoli rabe to the recipe for a complete one pot dish.
