Our Fantastic Vent will not work using the thermostat controls, but works using it manually.
Has the thermostat took a dump?

When I had my roof replaced last spring the fan would not open but would close? Checked it twice and finally found a broken connection on one of the 24ga thermostat wires. Fixed it and it works fine now.

Can you hear the lift motor running when you run the thermostat to it's highest point? If so, make sure your manual knob is pushed all the way up.

Ours did the same thing. Called Fantastic Fan and they sent a new thermostat free of charge. Solved the problem and never had another.
