Got vinyl tire covers for new tires. What is the best way to hold them on when in storage? They seem to fit tight , but ive had one come loose when windy. THANKS.

Go to Harbor Freight or your local Ace Hardware and buy a grommet kit. Should have everything you need.

I use a piece of bungee cord long enough to go around the tire. Put an "s" hook on each end. Stand and face the tire with the cover in place. Grip the bungee in each hand Iike you're getting ready to jump rope. Flip the loop over the tire and connect the two hooks.
I use black bungees since I have black covers. No kneeling, crawling around or trying to find a grommet. They stay on in strong, gale force winds.
When stowing I just roll up the cover and wrap the bungee around the cover and hook it. Keeps it all neat and small. I stow each cover in the compartment most adjacent to the tire it goes on. Rear and front covers are different sizes.

Thanks for the replys. Got a grommet kit and installed today. Very easy task. Somewhat hard to put bungees on, but will only use bungees when in storage. Again, thanks.I look at this forum everyday. Get lots of info.
