We came up with this idea for a little extra shade or a bit of privacy. They are cotton print tapestries we put grommets in. Curtain rods on ends are folding tent poles. We mad loops of cord that fit in the aux slot of the awning tube to hook curtains to with small carabiners.

oh MAN - I AM PSYCHED - I got some antiques I can pull out of storage - if they get trashed, they died an honorable death on the road! btw, how do you like that Mercedes config? reminds me of all the campers I see that follow the Tour De France. . . (only on Television, not really there. . . *sigh)

It's only "Hippie" if there is "smoke" coming from under the awning that's not BBQ smoke...  or if there are the sounds of "Kumbaya" emanating from your site!
