If you do any dry camping the best is a pair of 6V "golf Cart" batteries. The foot print is the same as 2 12Vs and the AH capacity and service life is better.

Hi,

I went to seven group 29 batteries for a total of 875 amp-hours.

Two would be 250 amp-hours.
