My friend has a Hitchiker 5th wheel that is 4 years old. This trailer has spent very little time out of the storage barn(Maybe 6 weeks). The roof is beginning to separate from the underlayment causing a bubble when he drives down the road, and there are wrinkles in the roof when stopped.Hitchhiker said it wasn't their problem. We need some ideas on how to fix this problem without costing an arm and a leg..

I don't think Winnebago made a Hitchiker ???
NUWA manufacturing did.

I would be interested in hearing more on this. I also have a small wrinkle, by the aircon, and don't know how to proceed to stop this from getting worse.

We had our roof fail as well causing it to billow up; driving into a 35 mph headwind didn't help either. Roof/trailer is still under warranty and I was heading to the manufacturer's rally when it failed. The service techs at the rally removed half of the trim along the top edge and the entire front cap. They then peeled back the roof material, rollered out new adhesive and relaid the roof material back down. Cap and trim reinstalled and everything resealed with chalk. Took about 2.5 hours with 8 to 10 guys working on it at any one time.

Wrinkles in the rubber roof (epdm) isn't a concern or problem, in fact it's very common. If it comes loose at an edge, that's where the problems start.

Your friend needs to call NUWA to see how they can help him. But better hurry as they shut down for vacation tomorrow for two weeks

My take on it is if it's bellowing up then air is getting under it somewhere around the front. So if there's air getting under it then there will be water getting in there as well. Needs urgent attention!!
