Can a Smart car be towed four down or does it need to be on a trailer?

Like any other car, can't assume the models can all be towed 4 down, but we do have one in our park who tows their Smart Car 4 down. I have also seen a few out on the highways being towed. I would definitely check the manual for SC or call their customer service.

All smart cars can be towed 4 down BUT Mercedes only blesses the 2008 and later gas models (451) Mercedes never blessed the 450 diesels being towed 4 down although many are doing it with no problem. We tow our diesel on a trailer because we like to be able to back up.

Yes, I like what I see!
We are in the early stages of looking for a Class "C" or a "B"+
We don't need the overhead bed so the "B+" is really all we will need.
We are looking at:
Laze Daze
Phoenix Cruiser
Coach House
Good Luck & Drive Safe!
