What are you looking for when you do a reflex test on a dog. The one where you bend the rear paw to the back, and the top of the paw is now facing the floor?
Hopefully not myalopathy (or however it is spelled). That is not a nice disease.

Good information on knuckling. "Normal" dogs won't keep their paw knuckled. We evaluate all 4 and the speed at which they right the foot and changes when compared to a similar test done previously.
Slow or absent placing means that there is something wrong in the pathway: nerve cells sensing the position of the foot, nerves that lead up to the spinal cord, nerves that lead back down to the muscles or with the junction nerve to muscle or the muscles themselves.
The changes can be seen with advanced arthritis in the hips and spine. It's a symptom but not always a serious sign.
Degenerative myelopathy does occur but at this point with Harlee I'd suspect hip problems first.
