Ok, so I ordered my new TT yesterday. It is a 2013 Passport 3050BH.. Approx weight is going to be 6000lbs (5500 is the sticker, so i figured 500 for the accessories, etc). Anyway, I was thinking of a Hensley hitch, but the cost is more than I really wanted to spend. I had an Equal-I-zer on my old unit. I wasn't really happy with it. Bent Pins, lots of noise at slow speeds.
Anyway, been doing a ton of reading, and it just depends who you talk to, so I figured talk to someone who has a similar setup. Is anyone else using a F150 Eco 157" WB 4x4 with a similar hitch/weight setup. If so, what are your thoughts.

Lots of people use Reese dual cam including me. Most people like it, some really hate it. I have the 1200# trunnion model, but all the dual cams are similar in operation. It pops a little when making sharp corners, but that's a consequence of having sway control. You get used to it. I like the DC hitch, works perfect for my current needs.

My TT is 5500 pound's according to the yellow sticker. I estimate I'm closer to 6500 pounds ready to camp. Love my Reese strait line when it's adjusted well. Rock solid towing at 75mph if I want. But when it's off, towing sucks. If you are willing to invest some time in learning how to adjust it, go for the Reese.

Dual cam does great when it is adjusted right. If its wrong then you will know it for sure.
I had to have dual cam. Now It's sitting In my bucket of RV parts on my workbench. I'm back on dual friction sway control. It's just more reliable in my experience. (pulling 1400 miles with dual friction bars over the next two weeks)
However DC is a great form of sway control when it is dialed in. You will either love it or hate it.
Thanks!

Love ours... Key is proper setup. Took me a few hours of tinkering with the directions until I was happy.
Really like that there is no issue with backing up & it doesn't groan when wet like the friction set up I had did.

5500lbs dry will be 6500 ready to travel! always add a minimum of 1200 lbs to the dry weight, figure on 800 lb bars. I have the DC and it performs flawlessly. I had the same DC on my old Dodge conv. van with a 28foot 6500lb trailer and it did great.

The Reese Dual Cam is the best hitch/sway control system I have ever owned. I installed it and adjusted it myself following the printed instructions and thought it was not that big of deal. Took two quick adjustments to dial it in and man ol man does it make a difference. The TT behaves beautifully now. BTW, mine is a 10k GVWR and I use the 1200/12000 lb set up.

I spent a few hours dialing mine in after the "dealer" installed it. I even had to re-drill and re-mount a cam bracket on one side.
But - once I got it set up right I like it.
