We will be travleing from Alpine Lake Campground in Cornith, NY to Mountain View Campground in Morrisville,VT

I was planning on this route:

NY State Rt 9N north to lake George

In lake George turn onto US Rt 9 south for 2 miles south to NY State Rt 149 East (Pass Lake George RV Park)

At Fort Ann turn onto US Rt 4 North

Follow US Rt 4 as I cross into VT

About 5 miles in VT turn on VT State 30 and follow that all the way to Middlebury, VT (I've done this before with my 20 ft TT before)

In Middlebury turn north onto US Rt 7 and follow that road all the way to Burlington, VT (Possible stop at VT Teddy bear factory)

In Burlington turn onto I89 South

At Waterbury get off at VT State Rt 100

Go on VT State Rt 100 North (Ben & Jerry's?) pass Stowe and continue to Morrisville, VT

In Morrisville turn south onto VT State Rt 15

Follow VT State Rt 15 for about 3 miles to campground

Anyone know this way while towing a TT, I have done part of this before but I thought I'd check here Also any roads closed from Irene damage from last year?

Thanks

Chris

All roads are open in the state should be no problem.

Don't tow, but that sounds plausible. The other option is to pick up 22A and cut out most of 7. That's the route a lot of truckers take.

I think you have it right. s1214 has a good suggestion, but be ready to keep up with those truckers. 22A is a pretty good two lane road and they do like to make time on there. Lived in the area for many years and drove both 22A and 30 many times.
