I have a Jeep sport V6 standard towing package. The wife and I have been going back and forth from a TT or a class C. What would be a good size TT to pull with the Jeep? Should we get a Class C and tow the jeep? We have a few months until we hit the road and we still can’t make up our minds. We have spent some time in a A class coach (loved it) but that is too big for what we want or need. So many choices

My vote would be for a class C with enough chassis & engine to tow your Jeep behind it.
Jeeps, as excellent as they are for their purposes, make very iffy tow vehicles due to the extremely short wheelbase, narrow track, and high center of gravity.

Just be careful. Be sure to check your Jeeps TONGUE WEIGHT spec. Not the receiver, the JEEP. Then remember you need at least 13% of the FULLY LOADED TT tongue weight on your receiver.
Don't know your model, but assume 500# MAX tongue weight, then max LOADED TT weight would be 3846#. I suspect that limits you to a small popup.

find out what the gross COMBINED weight rating (jeep gvwr plus trailer gvwr) is on your jeep (i assume it is a wrangler unlimited??????)
take the gcwr and subtract your jeeps gvwr and that will give you an idea of the MAXIMUM gvwr trailer weight you should even consider, thats not a dry trailer weight either, thats the loaded trailer weight.
that said i doubt you could safely tow more than a pop up or mini TT with your v6 jeep

All the other replies to this thread I would agree with especially after looking at what tow capabilities are available on the Jeep Wrangler Sport for 2012...http://www.jeep.com/en/jeep_capabilities/towing/
I would also choose a Class C and just tow the Jeep. That would be an awesome combination for exploring north America BTW.
Go to the Jeep forums and there are dozens of posts on this. I own a Rubicon and was looking for months and found the only sizable trailers that a Jeep could pull were TrailManors. I tried contacting them and never got any response from dealers or manufacturer which is an hour down the road. Ironically after I bought my Class A within an hour of leaving the dealer I saw my first Trailmanor ever on the road(that I know of).
The jeeps are not really good tow vehicles, so my decision was based on the fact that I wanted to off road and I am a contractor and will be living in it most of the time so I needed the space. So in the end I found a vehicle that could tow my jeep and had the size I wanted.
