How cute, the birthday girl with the eye missing tears at my heart. 2 1/2 years ago we lost one of our fur kids with only one eye. Well we did replace him with a normal girl however last year my DW was surfing the local boston terrier rescue group ( i have since had too block that site ) and on there was a boston with one eye that they were having trouble placing. Long story short within 48 hours he was placed "with us of course" and is a very happy little boy now. Oh and he isn't spoiled at all

I love hearing rescue stories...that little man will love you like no other for giving him a home....I am glad he isn't spoiled ( just like I don't spoil my girls )
Zari had her left eye removed in February...and Izzy will probably have her right eye removed in the fall, unless she has an exacerbation of her condition before then...

Oh yes your statement about loving us like no other is SO TRUE!!! All our fur kids love us however i must say i can tell a big difference in the way he is towards us. He was a puppy mill puppy that was rescued from absolutely deplorable conditions. I have to share this with you, my wife and i actually saw the rescue operation on the local news as it was quite a bad deal at the time and it made both of us absolutley sick to our stomachs. Fast forward about 5 months and he appears on this website unbeknown to us at that time thats where he came from. When the lady that runs the rescue brought him over too our house for us to meet him she told us the story. She even warned us that he probably wouldn't take up with me as he hated men for some reason in his past. Well he is now my little shadow and has been since the first day he walked in our house.
