Can't find the "loop" to pull down our Dometic Awning. Have pulled the pins on the legs & thought the awning would come down if each of us had one "leg" to ensure it came down evenly. Can't get it to unroll. Is there another lock on the legs to get awning to release?

Did you move the 'lock lever' on end of roller arm?

Pulled lever at end of awning down with the hook - if that is what you mean by lock lever. Have only used this thing twice so am really a bit dense when it comes to it. It hasn't been down in over a year.

I would say the best thing to do if you unlocked the "lever" on the end of the tube is to climb on a ladder and unroll the tube by hand.... Chances are that the loop has somehow become lodged up underneath the tube and maybe it will fall out when you begin to unroll the tube. If you attempt this, make sure you have a good hand hold on the tube as you unroll it so that it won't try to snap back if for some reason the teeth don't engage well when you unlocked the lever.

Exactly the way I have done this for someone else.
