Just wondering. Those of you who purchased a 3/4 ton diesel used and have had it a few years; what is the most expensive repair you have had?

All depends on which brand of trucks. No diesel is the same, so which truck are you looking at,Ford,GM/Chev or Dodge.

I have had a 06 f250 6.0 (yes the dreaded 6.0) since 08 and have had no problems what so ever besides the usual maintanance (fuel filters and oil changes)

06 LBZ Duramax. Still waiting for the first repair. Although it is going in for new oil cooler hoses next week under warranty.

Ball joints and routine maintainance. 125,000 mile and still running strong. Oil changes cost more but the intervals are longer between changes. I think it evens out in the end.

I bought my 05 Cummins new and (knock on wood) ball joints are the only repair that I have done thanks to our fine roads.
