Well, depending on which way the door swings, it might be on the inside. You know a typical house door swings inward so the screen swings outward. He might have a different idea.

That door is cut down and mounted upside down. Also I bet it is a a hollow core door to save weight.

Looks like a bit of caulking is required by the top right corner.....big gap between the wood and van body?
